Dressing & Items to Bring

  • There is a strict dress code to follow when entering the Grand Mosque. Please refer to the attached file and sample photos below and wear clothing suitable for admission. If clothing does not meet the standard, you cannot enter nor get off the bus.
  • Men's clothing: Sleeveless shirts and shorts are forbidden.
  • Women's clothing: From the sides of the neck up to the head: It is necessary to hide all the hair, including bangs. Please cover all the way to the end of the hair with a scarf.
  • Waist and above: Excluding the hands, exposed skin is prohibited. Be sure to wear long sleeves. Also see-through fabrics are also not permitted.
  • Lower body: Excluding the ankle, exposed skin is prohibited. Be sure to wear long skirts hiding until the ankle, or long pants.
  • Slim pants and body leggings are prohibited. Please have relaxed pants or a long, loose skirt.
  • If your pants or skirt are even a little bit short, you cannot enter the mosque. Be sure that no skin is exposed under the ankle.
